2011 Federweisser Festival

Our 21th Anniversary!

Please join us for our 21th annual German harvest festival Thanksgiving weekend

Friday, November 25, noon - 5 pm
Saturday, November 26, noon - 10 pm.

The Federweisser is the still-fermenting Riesling; a sparkling, slightly sweet wine we serve along with bratwürst from the Pepper Tree Sausage House in Albany and Zwiebelkuchen, a sweet onion tart, made by former Wine Depot owner Matt Morris. We will also have some special deals on our current releases including Pinot gris, our newly released ’08 Rose, and some tastes of our not yet released '09 Pinot noir and '09 Port..

On Saturday evening, Albany's classic rock band "Odd Man Out" will shake the rafters as folks hit the dance floor for an old-fashioned barn dance. Our Federweisser Festival is one Albany’s most anticipated and best parties with great food, great wine and good friends. The crowd and the music spill across the parking lot to the big fire in the fire pit keeping the Fall cold at bay. This is a great way to bring the Summer to an official close and ease into the Christmas season. Don't miss it!

The Festival also marks the end of our weekend winery hours until the first weekend in May. See you in ’12.
